Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of get a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it all over the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. It did this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. These bots also have a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few misses in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for most people however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

It's a small base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do very well at picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price cost.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

robot vacuum cleaner sale  is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers similar battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
